“Experienced formula 1 sidecar racing passengers are VERY hard to find. They bring skills which can only be learned with experience. Being able to learn the track quickly and ride the machine around the course with the driver are unique skills to these fearless participants. They have a terrifying point of view hanging over the side of the machine chin almost on the tarmac…..” With bucketloads of experience from his F1 championship career racing with Alan Schofield, Steve readily accepted an invitation to ride as passenger with Team Hannafin’s Rupert Archer at Oulton Park.
